Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of the Betmonks platform. By registering an account, a player agrees to the conditions set out below in full. Betmonks reserves the right to amend these terms with notice published on this page; continued use of the account after changes take effect is treated as acceptance of the updated terms.

1. Eligibility

Registration is restricted to individuals aged 19 or older, or the legal gambling age in their province or territory of residence if different. Betmonks reserves the right to request proof of age and identity at any point, and to suspend an account pending verification. Residents of jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited by local law are not permitted to register, and Betmonks is not liable for a player’s use of the service in violation of local law.

2. Account Rules

Each individual is permitted one account. Duplicate accounts, including those registered under a different name but linked by payment method, device or address, will be closed, and any associated bonus funds forfeited. Accurate personal information must be provided at registration and kept up to date; providing false information is grounds for account closure. Account credentials must not be shared, and Betmonks is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorised access due to credential sharing.

3. Deposits and Withdrawals

Deposits are processed instantly for supported card and e-wallet methods, and within a few hours for Interac e-transfers. Minimum deposit amounts vary by method, as listed on the payments section of the homepage. Withdrawal requests require prior identity verification (KYC), consisting of a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three months. Withdrawals are processed to the same method used for depositing wherever possible; where this isn’t possible, an alternative verified method will be requested. Processing times range from under 24 hours for e-wallets to up to 3 business days for card refunds.

4. Bonus Terms

All bonus offers are subject to the specific terms published on the bonuses page at the time the bonus is claimed, in addition to these general terms. Wagering requirements must be completed within the stated time limit or the bonus and any related winnings are forfeited. Withdrawal requests submitted while a bonus wagering requirement is incomplete will result in forfeiture of the remaining bonus balance. Betmonks reserves the right to refuse or withdraw a bonus offer where bonus abuse is suspected, including but not limited to the use of betting patterns designed to minimise risk while meeting wagering requirements (such as covering opposite outcomes across correlated games).

5. Game Rules and RTP

All games are supplied by third-party providers and are independently certified for fairness by accredited testing laboratories. Betmonks does not alter game outcomes or RTP values set by providers. In the event of a verified technical malfunction affecting game outcomes, Betmonks reserves the right to void affected rounds and refund wagered stakes, consistent with standard industry practice and provider terms.

6. Responsible Gambling

Players may set deposit, loss and session limits, and may self-exclude for a defined period or permanently, from account settings. Self-exclusion requests take effect immediately and cannot be reversed before the selected period expires. Betmonks will not accept deposits from a self-excluded account for the duration of the exclusion period.

7. Account Closure and Suspension

Betmonks reserves the right to suspend or close an account where these terms are breached, including suspected fraud, bonus abuse, underage access, or provision of false information. Where an account is closed due to a confirmed terms breach, remaining bonus funds and related winnings may be forfeited; genuine deposited funds not otherwise implicated will be returned upon request, subject to standard verification.

8. Limitation of Liability

Betmonks is not liable for losses arising from internet connectivity issues, third-party payment processor delays, or circumstances outside its reasonable control. Game outcomes are determined by certified random number generators operated by third-party providers, and Betmonks is not liable for individual session results.

9. Dispute Resolution

Complaints should first be raised through live chat or email support. If unresolved within 14 days, a formal written complaint may be submitted for review by a senior support manager. If still unresolved after 8 weeks, the complaint may be escalated to the Malta Gaming Authority’s Player Support Unit as an independent arbiter, consistent with the terms of the operating licence.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes not resolved through the complaints process described above fall under the jurisdiction of the Malta Gaming Authority’s dispute resolution framework in the first instance. This does not remove any protections a player may otherwise be entitled to under the laws of their own province or territory.

11. Currency and Taxes

All accounts are denominated in CAD by default. Players are responsible for determining whether winnings are subject to tax under the laws of their province or territory of residence; Betmonks does not withhold tax on behalf of players and does not provide tax advice. Currency conversion fees, where applicable, are set by the player’s payment provider and are not controlled by Betmonks.

12. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, game content, graphics and software on the Betmonks platform are the property of Betmonks or its licensed third-party game providers. Players are granted a limited, non-transferable right to use the platform for personal, non-commercial gambling entertainment only. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial use of platform content without written permission is prohibited.

13. Changes to These Terms

Betmonks may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the account following such changes is treated as acceptance of the revised terms.
